Who Takes Care of the Caregiver?

Every diagnosis creates two journeys.
One belongs to the patient.
The other belongs to the person standing beside them.

Only one of them gets a hospital bracelet.

Caring for Caregivers

Regular price $0.00

During my treatment, I was surrounded by love. People called. They brought food. They asked how I was doing, almost every day.

Almost no one asked my husband, Larry.

He was the one holding it all together.
The fear. The decisions. The unknown.
Alone.

That's what it means to love someone who's sick: showing up for a role no one prepared you for, while everyone else's attention goes to the person in the hospital bed.

We created Caring for Caregivers, a program of The Zero Negative Foundation, because Larry isn't the only one. There's a Larry in almost every family going through this.

Your donation goes directly to caregivers, in real time, when they need it most.

Groceries, when there's no time left to shop.
Gas money, for the drive to another appointment.
Rent or a bill that can't wait.
A night off, so someone can rest before they run out of anything left to give.

No approval process. No waiting. Just help, when it's needed most.

The caregiver is the second patient. No one hands them a diagnosis, but they carry one anyway.

Give the kind of care you'd want someone to give the person you love.
