Caryn Greenhut is a California state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and most importantly, Jennifer Greenhut’s sister! Caryn works with individuals, couples and families in her private practice in Santa Monica and has built a name for herself as one of Los Angeles’ top resources for young adults and teens.

Caryn graduated from Northwestern University as a Theatre major with a Bachelor's of Science in Speech. As an actress, her curiosity and creative exploration of the human character and emotion eventually translated to the study of psychology. She now holds a Master's in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on Child and Adolescent development, from Antioch University.

Caryn started her career as a psychotherapist with an internship at the Southern California Counseling Center, one of the few standing non-profit, non-government funded mental health clinics left in Los Angeles. There, Caryn worked with individuals, adolescents, children, families and couples as an Intern for over 5 years. She also facilitated a weekly group for women focused on self-empowerment and personal growth. Caryn is honored to be on the board of Zero Negative to help promote the importance of mindset and the felt change that is possible when you change your thinking!
